So many times, you want to incorporate children in your wedding, not knowing how they will behave. You can put them down for a nap and stay quiet all day, but you just never know whether they will do what you want during the ceremony and after, even with practice (and bribery). You can increase your chances if you make it more desirable for them. This past season, we had a bubble girl instead of a flower girl, a pair of cousins with angel wings, and ten grandchildren who were all given a special gift before the wedding. Online we saw a trend where the little girls got candy bouquets they can eat rather than flower bouquets. If you’re going to try to include them, think of a way you can provide a distraction. It gets a little scary to be in front of a crowd of people, separated from your parents.
