Before & after: a wedding photographer’s job used to be mostly over at the end of the wedding, but today, it is just beginning. Sorting and editing begins. Some photographers do minimal edits. Some do not know exactly WHAT to do, and you will notice a lot of times the skin tones and the wedding dress color is off slightly (or even a little more than slightly). We aim to make our edits as accurate to real life as we can, even when we have mixed lighting like some of these photos we posted showing editing before and afters. We also try and eliminate distractions such as exit signs and straighten perspective lines. What else do we do as part of the editing process? We will reduce highlights to make the sky more dramatic in your sunset photos.
We can perform other edits as well, but some may involve an extra charge. Let’s discuss your ideas and aspirations for your edited wedding images prior to your wedding, so we can make a plan to meet your expectations. Often, makeup and angles can help achieve your goals. If we have to spend less time editing, we may be able to deliver your gallery to you sooner!
